I felt so bad for Dex, he was panting the whole way there. Even with the air conditioning turned all the way up, the sun was still beating down and it was WARM.
This is my friend’s dog, Charlie. He was cuddling up with Andrew the whole way. It was super cute!
Upon checking in, they had a little sign with all the names of the dogs who were checking in that day. I loved that!
One of the cool things about Kimpton hotels is you can request a goldfish in your room. We named this little guy Scotty.
Unfortunately, that’s all I’ve got for our stay in Scottsdale. We were only there about 24 hours and didn’t get to do very much because Dex was being particularly barky.
Other than that, we’ve been trying to spend as much time in the sunshine as possible! Last weekend we managed to make it to the beach both Saturday and Sunday. I’m so thankful we live so close to the beach. I love that we can go for an hour and then go on with our day!
I’m loving my new job and I really feel like this is where I’m supposed to be. Things are SO different from my last job and they are ALL good things! With the exception of one person who everyone could do without, it really is the perfect environment. Everyone is so laid back and stress level of the job is nothing compared to where I came from. It kind of makes me glad I was laid off. I got to have a few months to play and have fun and then I was lucky enough to get this amazing opportunity.
